I’d recently heard about Minky fabrics – next-level plush fabrics, often used for baby/children textile projects. Once I was able to feel the cloud-like softness myself, I was in like. Just needed a project to come up that would “excuse” me buying some!
Not soon after that, I learned that one of my cousins and his wife have a baby on the way. Serendipity!
I had gone the handmade route with their first two children, and they seemed to appreciate the nature of the gift. So why not do it again – for #3 – with Minky fabric?!? Behold: a cheerful baby blanket for Miss TayTay.
